About the treatment

Dentures replace missing teeth and restore your ability to chew, speak clearly and smile with confidence. They can be full, when all the teeth in an arch are missing, or partial.

Every denture is made from impressions taken at the clinic and carefully adjusted over several appointments. Thanks to our dental laboratory and our experience in prosthetics, we follow the work at every stage, from impressions to the final fitting.

How the treatment works

1. An examination of your mouth and a choice of denture type.
2. Impressions of your jaws and a record of your bite.
3. A try-in of the denture to check shape, colour and bite.
4. Fitting of the denture and adjustment visits during the first weeks.

How long it takes

Making a denture usually takes several visits over 2–4 weeks. Getting used to a new denture takes a few weeks.

Patients who have lost some or all of the teeth in one jaw and would like a removable solution, as well as those who cannot or do not wish to have implants.

How long does it take to get used to a denture?

Usually a few weeks. At first, eating and speaking take a little practice. If the denture rubs or feels sore, we adjust it at the clinic.

Should I take my denture out at night?

We recommend removing it at night so that your gums can rest, and cleaning it every day following the instructions we give you.

How long does a denture last?

With good care, a denture lasts for several years. The jaw changes over time, so a reline or replacement may be needed.
