About the treatment

Baby teeth are very important for eating, speaking and the healthy development of permanent teeth. Early and regular visits help children build good habits and a fear-free relationship with the dentist.

With patience and a friendly approach, we carry out check-ups, cleanings, fillings and preventive treatments, explaining every step to children and parents.

Benefits

  • A calm, child-friendly approach
  • Early prevention of tooth decay
  • Advice on oral hygiene at home
  • Monitoring of tooth growth and bite

How the treatment works

  1. Time for your child to get to know us and the surroundings, without rushing.
  2. An examination of the teeth, gums and bite.
  3. Treatment as needed: cleaning, fillings or preventive care.
  4. Advice for parents on hygiene and diet.

How long it takes

A visit usually takes 20–30 minutes. Check-ups are recommended every six months.

Who it is for

Children from their first tooth through to their teens. The first visit is recommended at around one year of age or when the first tooth appears.

Frequently asked questions

When should I bring my child for the first time?

At around one year of age, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits help children get used to the dentist.

Why treat baby teeth if they are going to fall out?

Baby teeth hold the space for the permanent teeth. Untreated decay causes pain and infection and can affect the teeth that follow.

How can I prepare my child for the visit?

Talk about the visit in simple, positive words and avoid words that cause fear. You can also bring your child in just to get to know the clinic.
